Massachusetts Agent 2024 By the Numbers

Before 2025's three-peat, there was 2024 — the year the Lowell market stopped being a race. Per MLS Property Information Network (MLS PIN) Market Share reports, 2024 was the year I took both Lowell titles at once — #1 in transactions and #1 in volume — with margins that set up everything that followed. Here's the year, by the numbers.

Lowell 2024: Both Crowns, Big Margins

  • 75 transaction sides in Lowell — #1 in the city. The #2 agent closed 48 sides. My margin: 56.3% more transactions than the runner-up.
  • $17,537,555 in sales volume — #1 in the city, 27.3% ahead of the #2 agent's $13,776,400.
  • 51 units sold in Lowell across all property types.
  • 2.21% of all Lowell volume — one agent personally responsible for more than two cents of every dollar of real estate sold in the city that year.

To appreciate the jump: in 2023 I led Lowell in transactions with 46 sides. In 2024 the count leapt to 75 — a 63% increase in a single year — while my volume climbed to the top of the board for the first time. Growth and dominance in the same year is the combination that separates a hot streak from a takeover.

Massachusetts 2024: Six Figures of Work, Eight of Volume

  • 102 transaction sides statewide — individual production, crossing the 100-side mark for the first time.
  • 72 units, $24,681,104 in volume across Massachusetts.
  • Versus 2023: sides up 50% (68 → 102), volume up 35% ($18,237,047 → $24,681,104) — production compounding in both columns at once.

Statewide context, stated plainly: the all-agent lists are topped by teams stacking many agents under one name, and by volume the Boston luxury market posts numbers no Merrimack Valley practice matches. My 2024 claim is the one the board supports — a Lowell-based individual agent closed 102 sides in Massachusetts, more transactions than the overwhelming majority of individual agents in the Commonwealth, on his way to 107 the following year: 2025 By the Numbers.

Why 2024 Is the Year Sellers Should Study

2024's market punished lazy pricing. Rates were high, buyers were picky, and homes that missed their price sat while correctly priced homes moved. The agents who grew share that year — and nobody grew Lowell share like I did — did it by pricing from live evidence and negotiating through rate-shocked buyers' cold feet. My volume title wasn't won in a boom. It was won in the hardest selling environment of the three-year run, which is precisely why it predicts performance in whatever market comes next.

The Run, In One View

  • 2023: Lowell #1 transactions (46 sides) · 68 statewide sides
  • 2024: Lowell #1 transactions (75 sides, +56.3%) and #1 volume ($17,537,555, +27.3%) · 102 statewide sides
  • 2025: Lowell #1 both again (71 sides, +209% over #2; $16,854,695, +21.7%) · 107 statewide sides

The complete streak: Three Straight Years at #1, and the flagship tables in Lowell's #1 Real Estate Agent — The MLS Numbers Prove It.

2024 also matters for what it says about share, not just rank. My $17,537,555 in Lowell volume represented 2.21% of everything sold in the city that year — a share that rose even as my statewide sides crossed 100 for the first time. Growing the home market and the statewide practice simultaneously is the hard trick in this business; most agents trade one for the other. The 2024 board shows both columns growing at once, which is why it anchors the three-year story.
