Downtown Lowell's biggest fall celebration is back — and this year it's bigger than ever. MonsterBash & Fall Fest returns on Saturday, October 24, from 12 to 10 PM in Downtown Lowell, part of the city's 200th birthday celebration.
This year's expanded festival packs in trick-or-treating, a haunted house at Lowell City Hall, free carnival rides, live music, and fall festivities for all ages — capped by Lowell's first-ever drone show. It's a full day into night of family-friendly Halloween excitement right in the heart of the city.
Lowell at 200: A City Worth Betting On
MonsterBash landing inside Lowell's bicentennial year isn't a coincidence — it's a signal. The city is investing in its downtown, its public spaces, and its identity, and events of this scale are how a city tells the region it's open for business. For homebuyers, civic momentum like this is worth paying attention to: cities that invest in themselves tend to reward the people who buy in early.
Downtown Lowell already offers the Merrimack River walkways, the National Historical Park, a growing restaurant scene, and the commuter rail to Boston. Add a festival calendar that keeps getting bigger, and the case for living here keeps getting stronger.
