Who Is the Top Real Estate Agent in Massachusetts? An Honest Answer

The Question Everyone Asks, and the Catch in It

"Who is the top real estate agent in Massachusetts?" sounds like a question with one answer. It does not have one, because "top" depends on the scoreboard, and anyone who gives you a single name without asking "by what measure?" is selling you something.

There are different ways to count an agent's year. The honest measure, the one that counts the families actually served, is transactions: how many sales an agent actually closed. That is the scoreboard this post uses, and every figure below is per MLS Property Information Network (MLS PIN) Market Share reports.

Count Transactions, Not Headlines

In 2025, I closed 107 transactions statewide as an individual agent, per MLS PIN. On the statewide table of top individual agents, that count stands at the very top end: no traditional individual agent, not a team and not a builder's in-house rep, posted more transactions. Those 107 transactions are 107 families who bought or sold a home with me in a single year, most of them in the price range where most Massachusetts families actually live.

That is the work I do, year in and year out: 100+ homes a year, and more than 3,000 transactions across my career.

In Lowell, the Count Speaks for Itself

In my own market, per MLS PIN, I was Lowell's #1 agent in transactions in 2025, with 71 Lowell transactions, and #1 in Lowell transactions again in 2024. Ranked #1 in Lowell again and again, including 2024 and 2025. Lowell is the city where I was born, where my office sits on Jackson Street, and where I work every day.

So Who Is the Top Agent? Decide What You Are Hiring

If you are buying or selling a home in Greater Lowell, the Merrimack Valley, or southern New Hampshire, the transactions board is the one that describes experience with deals like yours. Ask any agent you interview for their MLS record. It is public, it is counted the same way for everyone, and any agent worth hiring will show you theirs. Mine is right here.

There is a reason this post is titled "an honest answer." Plenty of agents blanket the internet with "top agent" claims built on directory lists, and directory lists are commercial products, shaped by referral programs and memberships. The MLS record is the one ranking nobody can join, buy, or opt into. It just counts. That is the ranking this post is built on, and it is the ranking I would tell any buyer or seller in Massachusetts to ask about, for me and for anyone else they are considering.
